Tamworth Foundation for Musical Education was launched in 1986 to secure the financial base of the Conservatorium. Funds were donated by local businesses and individuals, and are managed by a Committee, in association with a financial planner. The Foundation assists the Conservatorium with administration costs.
The Friends of the Conservatorium, through fund-raising, provide various items of capital equipment.
The Friends also hold Winter Concerts. These are held in the Conservatorium Chapel during Terms 2 and 3, and provide students with performance opportunities in a supportive, friendly environment. Admission is free, however donations to the Friends' Bursary Fund are welcome. The Friends of the Conservatorium provide afternoon tea.
Peel High School Guitar Ensemble gave its inaugural performance at a Friends' Winter Concert in the Chapel.
Parents’ Support Groups undertake fundraising to support the activities of Tamworth Regional Youth Orchestra, Tamworth Youth Philharmonia and Tamworth Youth String Orchestra.
